One of th Rudy's drawbacks is he probably cannot carry his home state of NY against Clinton.
Maybe, maybe not. It remains an untested proposition. But which Republican hopeful has a better chance.

And one of Rudy's advantages is that he just might be able to carry California in the general election.

Californians don't really think any more of New Yorkers, than the rest of the union thinks of Californians.

Don't nominate Rudy to win California. It won't work.

Carry CA against Clinton? I cannot see that ahppening. NY may be a toss up but I doubt it, Rudy never ran for election statewide in NY.

With Rudy as candidate, NY is in play, California is in play, as are NJ and Connecticut. A very different political map from the one we are used to since 2000.
