PROTECTING THE BORDER

Congressman Hunter believes in providing and maintaining strong border enforcement for America. Duncan Hunter’s border initiatives include:

* 700 miles of fencing and infrastructure - by law - across Arizona, New Mexico and Texas
* Hiring of thousands of new Border Patrol Agents
* Increased funding for new facilities and vehicles for U.S. Border Patrol
* Increased lighting and surveillance equipment along the border
* The Double Fence Pilot Project, extremely successful in cutting drive through drug smuggling
* Strict enforcement of our nation’s current immigration laws
* Opposing efforts to provide amnesty or state-issued drivers’ licenses to illegal immigrants
* Introduced the True Enforcement and Border Security Act of 2005 that creates a border security zone along the entire southern border of the U.S. This bill will incorporate fencing, roads and technology to secure our border from illegal crossings and will increase the number of Border Patrol agents by 8000 over the next 6 years
* Co-sponsored and supported the passage of the REAL ID ACT. This legislation enacted nationwide standards for the issuance of state driver’s licenses and provided the Secretary of Homeland Security with the authority to complete the remaining 3.5 miles of the San Diego border fence
* Co-sponsored the Secure Fence Act of 2006 that requires border security fencing be erected in several specific locations along America’s land border with Mexico

Seems like he's mainly focused on border security and comprehensive ENFORCEMENT. So long as it's a plan for attrition, no jobs, no bennies, none whatsoever...have you ever heard him mention or acknowledge that what's behind all this is the NAU/SPP?

Not that I recall. I'm not surprised if he's afraid to speak of it, look what is done to others who dare talk about it.
