I don't think anyone's saying that. You're creating a false distinction, that if anyone's against the anti-communist authoritarian military dictatorship of Pinochet they're automatically for Allende's communism. That's just a fallacy.
So, in your opinion, it is perectly okay to get rid of a democratic government and kil thousands of ideological opponents just because you don't agree with the government's policies? You know there's a word for this right? It's called hypocricy.
You are either for democracy or you are not. And, I hope you do understand that the Communist regimes in the places you mention did not have their origins in democratic elections.
The Communists were evil; and so was Pinochet.
