I, for one, did not ever endorse the Allende regime or say that an overthrow of Communism was a bad thing. What I do not support is the hero worship of a man who ALSO suspended the constitution and either turned a blind eye to or willingly agreed to summary executions without benefit of the rule of law.
Typical mob-justice on this thread that anyone who disagrees and states an opinion immediately becomes the enemy. There's more than one way to skin a cat. Some of us would rather the Pinochet regime had been a bit more law abiding while stamping out communism.

Yah, that's working out great in Iraq. Tell me, how do you overthrow a Communist revolution without killing Communists? How do you establish rule of law when every aspect of the government is riddled with Communists from top to bottom? If Pinochet had done it your way, Chile would be a Communist dictatorship exporting Communist revolution all over Latin America (and making common cause with our enemies in the WOT).
