The United Way is such a scam, trying to profit from the publicity on this trajedy. Raising money for these 5 specific fire fighters.

What about all the other fire fighters in the country who die in the line of duty, out in bo dunk USA?

If it was a general fund for all, then it'd be legal. Now its just a scam and congress is trying to OK it.

All of the firefighters who were all but cremated on-site when they were overtaken by fire came from the same truck company in Apple Valley, population approx. 70,000. Is that "bo-dunk" enough for you?
Jason McKay's funeral entourage took a full 20 minutes to pass by, and that was just one funeral. They stopped construction on the 15-215 interchange so people from the high desert could drive down to Devore for the memorial service.
The deaths have hit our little town hard. The people in this town gave big. I'm glad to see this money released to help the families.
