How can anyone mock fatherhood when most of the fathers, uncles and "grandfathers" in urban communities are in jail or dead? The numbers of kids being raised by grandmothers is staggering.
Better kids are raised by two women who are sensitive enough to expose their kids to male figures outside of the same sex relationship. It cannot get any worse than what is happening on the ground in too many communities in America.
Two loving parents, regardless of sex, is more important at this point.
I have three grand children who became fatherless just about a month ago. Ages 8, 12 and 14. My daughter is 33 years old and now has to be the only parent raisng those children, unless she some day decides to remarry.
It will be tough for her but I am confident that she can do it and do a good job of it too.
Because of the miles between us I won't have a lot of input in their lives but will give it all I have.
Yes, it does. It's a wonderful thing to have a child coming-to-be in the Christmas season!

We have neighbors who both work, have little to NO interest in what their kids are doing & they are both headed downhill fast!
So, having a father & mother who both work & don't want to be involved in their kids lives once they get home is a worse situation for the kids. Not all fathers are ones who the kids should pattern their lives after!
