Ohio, why the F did Bush appoint these diplo-twits on this study group then? I'm personally praying to God that he DOESN'T bail on Iraq and lets our troops finish the job. But Bush keeps doing all these seemingly insane things for a guy who isn't planning on retreating. If you see any logic in appointing this Star Wars bar scene to recommend ideas of how to surrender, please share it with me because I seriously have not been able to see even a Machiavellian angle to bringing in a bunch of losers and prolific Jew-haters to 'solve' anything.

I know you posted to ohioWfan...but, I can answer your question.

President Bush did NOT appoint this ISG...a Congressman (R) put this forward as legislation...and Congress passed it...and they appointed the committee.

Bush had nothing to do with it.

My question to you is why is someone posting on this board so ill informed that he accuses President Bush of appointing these people when it is common knowledge that this is Congress' doing? Aren't you embarrassed?
