I generally agree with Caroline Glick, but she may be overestimating the ultimate effect of the "Iraq Surrender Group" report and may be drawing premature conclusions.
Obviously the GOP's conservative base is irate and the WH is aware. Only time will tell how it plays out.
However, there's no doubt that Israel can't afford to wait and must make plans now to secure herself from Iran's nukes. As you indicated, the first step for Israel is to replace the Olmert government.
If W is so aware of the base, why does he keep pissing them off?
