"Did Rummy say that his worst day on the job was "the prison abuse"? How is that possible? He was dragging people out of the burning Pentagon on 9-11."
I'd agree with him.
The heroism that sprang from the tragedies of 9/11 makes my heart swell. It was a horrible day, but in it there was much to be proud of. By comparison, the treasonous media propaganda that snowballed from Abu Ghraib makes me seethe with rage at what the Left, here and abroad, has done to America. If we "lose" in Iraq--as in Vietnam--it will be because of that, not because of the physical attacks we have suffered.

The simple fact is that Abu was done by American soldiers who should have known better and he is damn sure smart enough to know what was coming.
Wait for the book... That is going to be the B*tch Slap heard round the world. Good on him and he'll do it with a smile on his face and the slappees will hardly feel a thing -- at first. This is going to be great fun.

I also agree. The worst day comment goes hand in hand with what Gen. Peter Pace said earlier in the Q&A - there are over 2.4 million service members and at any given time somebody is doing something stupid. Those clowns did something stupid in that prison which disgraced the vast majority of our good service men and women. The same treasonous people from the Viet Nam era could now point at that and say, see - the U.S. military is no good! The one main thing that bothered me about that is that female reserve general got off.
