For reference, this is a picture of a Trident II D5 missile launched from a submerged submarine.

Below is a photograph comparing the Trident II D5 missile (on the left) with the earlier Trident I C4 missile. The unclassified specs for the Trident II D5 list a payload capacity of seven 300 kt MARV.

Trident II D5 list a payload capacity of seven 300 kt MARV.

A 20 kt bomb blew Hiroshima of the map in 1945. How many Trident II D5s are there on an Ohio class sub?... 20?

THAT is some serious destuctive power.
