Jeanne Kirkpatrick, Margaret Thatcher and Phyllis Schlafly are the real role models of strong women.

Hail to a true patriot and remarkable human being. RIP Jeane Kirkpatrick.

RIP to a towering figure.
Her speech to the 1984 Republican convention was one of the greats. Her excoriation of the "Blame America First" crowd was awesome, and is still appropriate today with respect to so many Dem politicians!

Rest in peace, Jeanne, and condolences to your family. Thanks for standing up for our country when few others did, and for doing so in such an eloquent manner. We need more like you now - especially at the top of the State Dept.

A Great loss to the nation and it's people.
I will miss her no nonsense, clear and no BS style.
A great ideologue and spokesman for this country.
I had plugged for her to be the first female POTUS in the early 80's.
She WILL be missed. Rest well.

One of the great women of the American political scene, and my hero.
A great loss. May the Lord comfort her family and loved ones.

She was a truly great lady. It is interesting that in her very early years of academia she was actually a Marxist and became a Democrat and finally a Reaganite in 1980. I have always said that the best spokespersons for the conservative movement are those who were at one time on the left but latter evolved toward the right. This is because having been on the left you get to know how liberals think and then realize that its idealistic principles are flawed. You can see all of the holes in their philosophy and as a result become the most eloquent advocate for the right. Ronald Reagan was another who came from the left and went to the right. Were not these two among our greatest leaders.

Yes, Jeanne Kirkpatrick did make a difference and set high standards for integrity and loyalty in service to this country. She and Margaret Thatcher are in a class all their own. RIP Jeanne Kirkpatrick.

Love that picture!
Is it a coincidence that her head is blocking out a large portion of the communist world?
RIP Ms Kirkpatrick.

Jeanne Kirkpatrick, Margaret Thatcher and Phyllis Schlafly are the real role models of strong women. I hate to always have to be the odd man out, but, to the best of my knowledge, both Kirkpatrick & Thatcher were ardently pro-abortion.

Sorry, but as a Brit,I wont be mourning this lady much....
