Steyn essentially told BOR that Gregory is a egotistical jerk.

David Gregory is a rude, inconsiderate, despicable excuse for a human being.
In other words, he's a lib.
I dont ever seem to remember the press corp ever acting in a way that is so demeaning to the White house spokesman. Gregory makes up in rudeness through his lack in class.

There is something rather simian about that face. Amusing, really, when you think he represents a group that calls President Bush a "chimp."

This has been going on throughout President Bush's administration. I don't mind a probing press -- after all, it was that kind of dogged journalism that exposed various scandals such as Watergate, President Bluedresstain's antics, and, locally, Pennsylvania lawmakers' middle of the night pay grab earlier this year. But this is not an inquiring press -- this is a press that is rude, arrogant, demeaning and disrespectful to the President and just downright hateful.
Mr. Snow showed grace under fire. Thank goodness I'm not press secretary. I would have punched Gregory in the snoot.

This was also the "Question of the Day" on Fox and FReepers, yesterday, and a segment on O'Reilly last night.
Surely this is just an example of "Great Minds Thinking Alike", and not the "FreeRepublic Echo Effect".
I watched the BOR-Steyn segment and it was very good. I noticed one thing when BOR has Steyn on - this is the second time I have seen Steyn on BOR. BOR does not even attempt to disagree or argue with Steyn. It's like he realizes the futility of attempting to match wits with someone of Steyn's stature.
