Obviously you learned nothing from the Nov7th election outcome. Bush and the GOP ignored their conservative base, and they paid a severe price. The worst Congressioanl election defeat suffered by a Republican President, since Herbert Hoover in 1932. If the same events play out in 2008, the GOP will lose the WH for at least 8 years. The Democrats will once again dominate inside WashDC.

Huh? Actually Congress did nothing this year, there were corruption scandals and Iraq is very unpopular which led to independent moderates that voted for Bush in 2004 to want change and thus they vote for Democrats in 2006. Also, there was the "6 year itch" thing as well which is a well documented historical trend.
