Exactly. What the Jihadists want most is a state of their own--especially one awash in petro dollars. One could argue that they already have that in Saudi Arabia. If she thinks they're going to just shrug and walk away, she is deluding herself.
But you can count on that no matter how it turns out, the MSM will forget about what the Dems advised. In the end, it will be all about blaming Bush. Not that Bush isn't to blame--the war agains the insurgency has been all too PC, so we shouldn't be surprised at the result.
