I think Ed Meese is much the same way. I miss guys like them. And, of course, Reagan. I remember being at a Phillies game one day and hearing that Reagan had just bombed the crap out of Libya. Right out of the blue. I smiled through the whole game.

It makes me wonder if one day the news will come across the wire that Bush blasted Iran. Or Syria. Or both. Right out of the blue.

Lyn was a writer for the Copley papers, San Diego Union Trib. Ed Meese was living in the San Diego suburb La Mesa before they got on the Reagan train.

I think Bush is a little smarter than Baker and won't jump on his band wagon. Baker's history of anti Israel has no place in our society.
