I firmly believe the democrats want Bush to retreat but wouldn't do it if they had the white house.

The Major report they mention was the biggest boatload of crap I have ever seen.
Most of it has already been tried and has failed and the rest relies on people who arent trustworthy.
The part where they want to have talks about Israels future without Israel and they want to give away the Golan Heights
where did they get that? Its the most stupid thing I ever heard.

I pray to God they do not retreat!
The ISG will be shown in history to be the equivalent of Neville Chamberlain coming back to Britain and calling for a treaty with Hitler.

This president not only has to fight an enemy abroad, he has to fight the enemy here at home as well. Not just the enemies in the DNC, but in the GOP as well.

Bush and Blair were first-class in this news conference. It was a reaffirmation of sanity, along with leadership and character.

Bush And Blair Refuse To Move Over IraqJust the problem, when they ought to be kicking ass big time. The US military is a killing machine and I think we should be about it.

Quick quiz: Who would you trust with your country - Blair and Bush, or the folks in the Iraq Study Group?

Thank You for that Post - I've been sort of depressed the last couple of days - The Freepers posting the replies make me feel much encouraged on this issue. The President and Blair have encouraged me today.

Bush And Blair Refuse To Move Over Iraq
What the Telegraph really wanted as a headline was: "Bush And Blair Refuse To Surrender in Iraq"
What Bush and Blair are really telling the surrender monkeys in Europe and in the new democratic congress in the U.S. is that if someone is going to surrender Iraq to the insurgents and the terrorists and Iran, it won't be Bush or Blair.

Now the MSM is after Bush for not changing geography. It's hard to move over a country...especially one surrounded by mountains and deserts.

Speaking on the 65th anniversary of the Pearl Harbour attack, Mr Bush said that any attempt to retreat from Iraq would haunt generations of Americans to come.

"....the only realistic path to security is by ensuring the spread of liberty,"
This is THE most important thing he can say.
And it deserves repeating a thousand times if necessary.
Because it is TRUE.

"It's bad in Iraq. That help?" he shot back fiercely. "You want frankness? I thought we would succeed quicker than we did. And I am disappointed by the pace of success."
That was the beginning of a great segment with President stating what's at stake. I'm glad they came out so quickly with a response.
