AMBER ALERT: Toddler vacationing with family missing from Gatlinburg
The Gatlinburg Police Department has issued a Tennessee statewide AMBER Alert for a toddler missing from Gatlinburg.Advertisement
Andrea Montoya is a three year-old, white female. She has light brown hair and brown eyes. She is three feet tall and weighs 35 pounds. She was wearing a purple coat and gray jogging pants when she disappeared.
Andrea was last seen in the laundry room at the River Terrace Hotel in Gatlinburg on Thursday at 2:45 p.m. EST. She is from Florida and is visiting Gatlinburg on vacation with her grandmother and mother.
A white, newer model Jeep Cherokee with Florida plates was seen circling in the area earlier in the day.
If you have seen Andrea Montoya, please call 911, or contact the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND, or the Gatlinburg Police Department at 1-865-436-5181.
This little girl needs our prayers.

We can only pray that she is found alive and unharmed... and this we will do.
There should have been a security cam in the laundry room; they are what would be considered a "high risk" area in any apartment or hotel. They also need to check all the washers and dryers, just in case some other children or teenagers were "playing" and put her in one... (it does happen). But I fear that someone may have snatched her out of the laundry room.
Prayers for this little girl and her family. May God bring her home...

For those of you familiar with Gatlinburg (millions visit here every year) the hotel where she was last seen is on a swiftwater stream. The hotel is next to the Aquariam (sp) right behind the main drag.
Can you guys all ping everybody you know in this area? They are saying the temperature is going to be eight degrees tonight in Gatlinburg.

After the false Amber alerts, such as in the cause of the faked carjacking, I fear that people wills start to ignore Amber alerts.

Sounds like it with the refence to the Jeep with Fla. plates.
Something doesn't sound quite right. The grandmother and mother are vacationing from Florida in Tennessee with the child. The circling Jeep Cherokee had Florida plates. Is this Dad? Is this a child custody battle?

I understand you both asking these questions, and I agree it sounds fishy.
I don't know, I saw the report on the local news at 6 p.m., and found this on the TV station website. Can't find any additional news. Hope everybody around in several surrounding states is keeping an eye out.
The thing that scares me is this hotel is on a creek that has swift water.
