He mealy-mouthed his response to a question on whether he'd accept the ISG recommendations, and I started to wrry. But then, when a reporter accused him of being "in denial" about the situation in Iraq, Bush very forcefully, passionately and articulately reitered his long-held positions - declared victory to be vital, that we would not quit, etc. He was just great.
