What's over?
Thank you Miss Marple. Well thought, well said.
I'm surprised Bush won't surrender to the Iraqis, he certainly has surrendered to Mexico.
Iran? Maybe.
It's curious how little involvement we see directly from Secretary Rice. Where is she?
Behind the scenes?
The military delivered a spectacular and historic victory, it is the politicians that have brought us defeat.
The ISG is the death knell of the war. It's now about "peace with honor"
Keep deluding yourselves. I was a huge supporter of the WOT and the Iraq War. But now it's about a withdrawl. The ISG guarantees it. Either Bush does it, or the Dems will when they have all three houses...
Meanwhile good American boys die while this plays out. Not worth one more life or limb. Face reality guys.
Bush has NEVER had trouble articulating the war we face. I completely understand the stakes and what we are up against. It is people hell-bent on their hatred for him and it has blinded their brains...and darkened their souls. Ignorance truly is bliss...
THAT is a very good question.
awesome and accurate...u go girl
We're not fighting Iraqi's in Iraq. We're fighting Iran. Had they stayed out of it, this war would have been over long ago.
Sometimes we need to tell some people on this forum who they really are, and no point of arguing with them.
??
Glad to hear that :)
What amazes me is that some people don't agree with this statement. They are all cozy in front of their plasma tv, eating popcorn and wondering why we can't all just get along. I guess people who complained about $3.00 per gallon gas didn't learn, imagine $10/gallon gas and the effects on the globabl economy, markets, etc? We'd lose more in the stock market in one day than a year of fighting this war costs us.
hell yes she is behind the scenes...A president meets his equililant and set things in motion.Condi arrives and provides the jot and tiddle ...this ain't new and you KNOW IT
So, are you actually listening to this?
Compared to Blair, he is inarticulate. Why didn't Bush say more about the AQ/Saddam relationship, particularly in light of documents found after the war? Or the fact that twice as many Iraqi security forces, military and police, are dying than Americans? Or the importance of the region to the world's economy, particularly oil, and what impact chaos in Iraq would have on the flow of oil? Or provide more detailed information on what Iran and Syria are doing in terms of supporting the violence and those fighting the duly elected government of Iraq?
Amen to that.
What makes you think that Bush is any more impelled to act on the ISG's recommendations than he was to the 9/11 Commission's?
