I sure hope you're right. But I don't think this country has the guts to fight a war any more. We're fat, dumb and happy for the most part, and won't wake up until it's far, far too late.

I think you are correct in describing the government and the sheeple. However, there are still quite a few of us armed citizens that love America and are prepared to defend it from all enemies foreign and domestic. It's sad that traitors like Clinton and Kerry are not punished per the constitution. It's still the supreme law of the land. What's even worse, is that armed patriots are considered part of the "white supremacist-survivalist right wing conspiracy" by the media and leftist Godless commies that run the democratic party. I sure hope Robert Gates was just telling them what they wanted to hear to get confirmed. If not, he seems like he's going to be more part of the problem than the solution.
