I hope he's alive too so he can realize that his family was rescuedthat would be wonderful.
People should take a basic survival skills class, IMO. You never know when it could save your life or help your family get through natural disasters, terrorist attacks, etc.

Just wait to find out. We don't know yet

I assume when they talk about a body, it is a dead body that they are talking about as opposed to a living person. The story starts with this sentence "MERLIN, Ore. — The body of James Kim, who left his stranded family in a car in the Oregon wilderness to try to get help, was found Wednesday, according to FOX affiliate KTVU."

People should take a basic survival skills class, IMO. Correct. The beauty part is, the classes are fun.

I hadn't seen that, but it would make sense to layer on everything he could, even any clothes his wife and daughters could spare.
To: indcons
Fox has already had to back off a lot of stuff they said in the beginning; I wouldn't count on anything they have said.

Then it goes on to say that they did not know if he was alive or dead...
In all likelihood he didn't make it, but hope is a good thing.

What a hero! God Bless James Kim and his family and grant his wife and daughters comfort at this time. He was so resourceful and ultimately courageous in attempting to save his family. Those girls will always know what a hero their daddy was.

Those girls will always know what a hero their daddy was. The irony being, if Mr. Kim had been a "coward" those girls wouldn't have to worry about saying "was."
