1)Get rid of all muslims.

2)Allow non-muslims to immigrate.

Well, it is the less [seriously] islamic, the more democratic. So where they are present together, they are in inverse proportion.

Well, I've seen that spirit firsthand. What was being crushed were the westernized individuals, like the late Politkovskaya. Iran, Turkey and hopefully Iraq will lead democratic movements through out the middle-east. Radicals have no chances if we succeed in spreading democracy in that corner of the world

It's not impossible, and they will have to find a bridge between their religion and a civilized ME.

Their moderates must find a way, there is no longer a choice, they will not be allowed to roam the globe, murdering innocents with impunity, as they have for the last 3 decades, and even longer really.

Modernity has caught up with them, and now it is being paid for with our blood and treasure. We are a giving nation, and this President has given their moderates a chance to make a go of a civilized nation.

If they do not take it, they are doomed.

In Turkey and Indonesia, the tide is changing. As Muslims become more and more educated and understand what this Islam truly is, things change fast.

Governor Bradford, of Plymouth Plantation, observed the results of communism firsthand. It justly died on this continent before it got a foothold.

Any Englishman of the 18th Century would have said the same thing about India. Yet two centuries under the Britsh Raj did produce a democracy, even though that was not the intention of the British. Eighty years of British rule came close to such a result in Egypt; a lesser time in Nigeria had some sucess. Fourteen years of rule in Iraq did not.
Is it surprising that in four years we have not?
