We can also hope that the people Gates will be working with will do their utmost to bring him 'round to the right way to think. He'll be spending lots of *quality time* with Cheney, the Joint Chiefs, etc. I'm sure they'll have a thing or two to tell him about how to get the message across in a time of war.
