Perhaps Gibson is trying to tell us something in "Apocolyptico" (sp).
What if the Mayans still existed in their blood lust "culture"? Would
we be trying to PRESERVE them, like they're cute orsomething?
Primitive cultures die out or they assimilate into civilization. I believe
Islam would have imploded on itself if Armand Hammer hadn't
discovered oil in Saudi Arabia.
Sheesh. We make our pets behave better than some "cultures".

I live in Southern CA--On almost a daily basis I have the "Azteca" culture shoved in my face. So few of those who praise it under the guise of multiculturalism know what a bloodthirsty lot the Aztecs were.
The Aztec nation and culture needed to be thrown on the ash heap of history.
Would you want all US Culture judged on the base of what our Mobsters and drug gangs do?
