I didn't "run him." Karl Rove, and the IL GOP, did. (Even though they ultimately broke every promise they gave the man in the process...)
In case you've forgotten, my sister was killed along about that time, leaving two orphaned kids. I didn't have a thing to do with either launching or running that campaign. Too busy.
We warned you and your ilk about how dangerous Obama was and is, but you were too busy indulging your personal petty vendetta against Keyes to care.
For you to now blame him is the height of hypocrisy.
You don't think Keyes' pandering and hypocritical statements supporting reparations, along with his previous statements about how Hillary was "carpetbagging" by running for Senate in NY, had anything to do with his loss?
Oh yeah, and there were also his hypocritical and mean-spirited remarks about Mary Cheney...
Is Keyes still living in Chicago & trying to reform Illinois politics as he said he would? I didn't think so....
I'm not blaming him for anything.
I just think it's funny that the only thing this great Obama has done to get where he is today was to defeat Alan Keyes.
Rove had nothing to do with it.
Do you really want to bring up broken promises when discussing Keyes history (or lack thereof) in Illinois?
