But he didn't promise a fence; your boys did.
I'm guessing the fence is DOA.

George Bush did not solicit donationsfrom the public with the purported intent to build a fence. You folks did.
So where is the fence that you folks promised?

Right.
Apparently the only thing that Bush-Cheney did was "failed to include that activity in disclosure reports filed with the Commission."
I don't see anything in there about misleading donors OR making false statements or withholding documents.

"Ours is a nation of immigrants. We're also a nation of law. Unfortunately, the United States has not been in complete control of its borders for decades and, therefore, illegal immigration has been on the rise. We have a responsibility to address these challenges. We have a responsibility to enforce our laws. We have a responsibility to secure our borders. We take this responsibility seriously." - President George W. Bush

Oh, that. Well, the fence is there, and allegedly funded. Now, of course, a new Congress might pull the funding for the fence, as is well within their authority to spend (or not spend) money.
Where were all those votes that were guaranteed to flow to Republicans and ensure a GOP majority in both houses if he adopted the Secure Fence Act?

Doesn't say one word about a fence in there.
That's yet another promise "your people" have made and not delivered on.
Where's the fence?

You boys said you were building a fence, where is it?

The votes were there, for those with the brains to get 'em, and for those who don't talk out of both sides of their mouths.Bush delivered.
Y'all didn't.
And that means that what Congress and Bush gave you, Congress will take away, and there won't be a damn thing you can do about it. And you can also bet that Bush isn't going to be in a mood to be of any further assistance to you. Bush gave you what you wanted, and you threw it away November 7th.
If the votes were there, and did not show up on November 7th, then y'all decided to throw the troops in Iraq under the bus out of pettiness and spite towards the man who actually gave you what you wanted. Your ilk chose to empower the folks who threw baggies full of fecal material at me when I got home from Vietnam--all in the name of spite for Bush. Your ilk opted to lose the war. I guess the donations you can grift from the perpetually PO'd are far more important than victory.
Go lobby the Democrats for border enforcement and a fence. And don't you dare utter the epithet "RINO" except in reference to you and your buddies.

The only thing I know about Alan Keyes anymore is he's the reason Barack Obama is gonna be POTUS pretty soon now. That's ironic, coming from people who cared more about attacking Alan Keyes than they did about defeating Barack Hussein Obama.

That post is one of the biggest piles of steaming BS ever published on FR.No, I think that honor goes to the "everybody does it" defense offered at Post #34.
Not everybody does things like misleading donors or refusing to respond to subpoenas. Only the no-kidding criminals do stuff like that.

I didn't "run him." Karl Rove, and the IL GOP, did. (Even though they ultimately broke every promise they gave the man in the process...)
In case you've forgotten, my sister was killed along about that time, leaving two orphaned kids. I didn't have a thing to do with either launching or running that campaign. Too busy.
We warned you and your ilk about how dangerous Obama was and is, but you were too busy indulging your personal petty vendetta against Keyes to care.
For you to now blame him is the height of hypocrisy.
