Because the Left is using cases that are highly emotionally charged (splitting families apart) to paint anyone who is for immigration control and who is anti-amnesty as cold, heartless, racist thugs.

Your argument is the perfect counterpoint. Let's not focus on this one illegal who happens to be married and may have a legal basis for being here.
