Comedy Central has ordered "Lil' Bush: Resident of the United States," a cartoon satire that re-imagines President George W. Bush and key executives in his administration as elementary school misfits.
The title character is surrounded by close pals like Lil' Cheney, who grumbles unintelligibly, and Lil' Condi, who pines for Lil' Bush and does his homework for him.
"Bush" is not without its risque moments. When Lil' Bush's school serves falafel instead of hot dogs for lunch in one episode, he and his pals torture the cafeteria employees with methods made famous during the Abu Ghraib prison scandal.
Six episodes from writer-producer Donick Cary ("The Simpsons") have been ordered to air on Comedy Central next year.
"Bush" got its start in September as six five-minute clips offered by Amp'd Mobile, a U.S.-based wireless service that packages video entertainment programming with cell phone service.
"Bush" represents an unlikely reversal of the one-way flow of programming from television to other digital platforms, where networks and studios are attempting to extend franchises in search of new revenue. That said, many a programmer has cited the Internet and mobile arenas as potential breeding grounds for fare that could translate back to TV.

I
Thou shalt create an illusion of invulnerability shared by most members to foster excessive optimism and encourage extreme risks taking
II
Thou shall not allow any member to question the group's inherent morality, instead members shall be encouraged to ignore the ethical or moral consequences of their decisions
III
Thou shalt promote collective efforts to rationalize in order to discount warnings, or other information that might lead members to reconsider their assumptions before they recommit themselves to their assumptions
IV
Thou shalt reinforce stereotyped views of enemy leaders as too evil to warrant genuine attempts to negotiate, or as too weak and stupid to counter whatever risky attempts are made to defeat their purpose
V
Thou shalt self-censor any deviation from the apparent group consensus, inclining each member to minimize the importance of their doubts and counterarguments
VI
Thou shalt create and maintain a shared illusion of unanimity concerning judgement conforming to the majority view
VII
Thou shalt apply direct pressure on any member who expresses strong arguments against any of the group's stereotypes, illusions, or commitments, making clear that this type of dissent is contrary to what is expected of all loyal members
VIII
Thou shalt appoint mindguards to protect the group from adverse information that might shatter their shared complacency about the effectiveness and morality of their decisions

Bush Derangement Syndrome.
Too bad it is not terminal.
Then again, maybe it is, for all of us.
I have little sense of humour left about politics anymore.
Islamo facists wish to wipe us from existance and the left is making the job easier for them.
Thou shalt reinforce stereotyped views of enemy leaders as too evil to warrant genuine attempts to negotiate, or as too weak and stupid to counter whatever risky attempts are made to defeat their purpose
Hm, but doesn't the right do the exact same thing?
The abuse of this man is just historically awful on so many levels. America is in the toilet.
That would make a great tag-line!
Y Yes it is. I blame the rats but I also blame Bush for not defending himself and the rest of us along with it.
Maybe Bush can pull out of this somehow that humiliates the rats.
Un-FReeping-believable!
("Head-On...Apply Directly To The Forehead, Head-On...Apply Directly To The Forehead"
G*dd*mn*t! That commercial is worse than 'water boarding'.
Hey!! That's a good idea..Oh. Never mind.
I don't want to be hauled before 'Congross' for suggesting cruel and unusual punishment for captured anti-civilizationist, murders.
If you're an ACLU troller please ignore my post. (F*ckin' C*ck $*ckers). Oh, I'm sorry. Did I say that out loud?
GOOD!!'Cause I thought I'd only thought it at first!!!!
Give me an example? I'm not aware of a situation where someone on the right (in general) fails to consider a reasoned argument by the left based on the fact that someone told them that the s/he making the arguement was stupid or evil.
I seem to recall this was the DNCs biggest arguement against Bush during a national campaign. Lacked gravitas, was stupid, was Hitler. Then listen to this stuff get played back by leftist activist with no facts to back up there assertion. I would recommend a visit to brain-terminal.com or protestwarrior.com and review the video.
I don't see any of this on the right. Sure, there are comments like this made, but there is also reasoning and facts that back up the assertion, not blind groupthink loyalty.
That is not to say it doesn't exist, but I can't find in my conservative circles or in general and if it is happening on the right, that is indeed a very bad thing.
Regards,
If we had lil Bill and lil Hil would he have a lil dick which she would try to chop off?
I just had the impression that the general vibe on this board when talking about 'Hitlery' Clinton and her friends would maybe also make it hard to lead a nuanced discussion about her agenda. I admit that I did not also follow the discussion on a democrat board for the last 4 years or so. But the demonization and ridiculing of your political opponent is also fairly common here.
He has a higher approval rating in Baghdad and Kabul than D.C. and NEw YOrk.
It's not even remotely funny. I wasn't expecting it to be South Park funny, but I thought I might at least laugh once.
That's just unoriginial stupidity. That's the best Comedy Central can do with a project like this? Kramer's rant was funnier.
Actually kind of cute, it would be a shame if some freeper was to use the images to make gifs and pics with entirely different messages then what shows up on comedy central, you know like more positive messages.
Your right about such attacts. A good question to ask the next person you run into making such a seamingly ad hominem would be what evidence to they base their assumptions on.
This is where I would hope a distiction could be drawn. Although I've never used the term myself, my guess is that you would off the top of their head hear any one of these references:

For me personally, the Juanita Brodderick story and what was done to Billy Dale speak volumes. Far worse for others are Whitewater, Billing records showing up in the whitehouse, the hug with Arafat's (a terrorist) wife, Universal Healthcare putting 1/3 of the US economy under government control, etc...
Who's the blonde haired kid with the purple suit suppose to be?
Jeb?
Jeb
I guess you would hear a roughly equal amount of dirt from the other side. IMO the sad truth seems to be, you just can't climb to a certain level in politics without getting your hands dirty one way or another. So I tend to judge politicians from their actual governing rather than from stories about their private life or diplomatic incidents of small actual importance. Even so, there seem to be some items on the page you linked that relate to some of her major political decisions. I'll be sure to read it carefully.
