The people who protect us - will be out watching for bad guys -in advance of this week's shuttle launch And they want you to know you'll be seeing some of the F-16's hard at work. The job of keeping terrorists away from the shuttle is in Norad's hands.

"We want the American people to know we are on the job, doing what they expect us to do, and we want potential adversaries to know that we can be there and be anywhere in a short period of time."

Tyndall Air Force Base's Mike Strickler says now guarding high visible targets like the shuttle means looking inside the U.S. for attacks and other changes:

"There's more ah cross talk between us and federal agencies and state and local agencies as well."

Strickler says you'll. be seeing the F-16's on low approach's around OIA -the Orlando executive airport and Sanford -Orlando airport beginning tomorrow.
