Sorry, raygun... the whole thing just doesn't cut it with me, but remember, I am old, jaded, and fed up a tad.

If he had the forethought to bring the snowshoes, why didn't he have proper food, temporary heating devices, flares, down bags, etc... and why the heck was he on such a dangerous road, with a 7 month old infant and a 4 year old?

Unless he was a guy looking for a good "story'?

That said, I do hope they find him alive and well, for these two little girls deserve a good daddy to walk them down the aisle, and the mother doesn't need the burden of raising them alone.

I am just hoping it wasn't a clever plan gone horribly wrong! And in our media-centered culture, with bottomless Brittany, etc.... it is important to be a bit sceptical, don't you think?

I think you are really on to something. No doubt about it.

I heard that they had a map that would lead them to Elvis, who was holed up with BigFoots bride. That Elvis charm, you know.

A real story there.

You are on to something alright. If I were you, I would give it up.

First of all: "depracating" in this 44 year old boy's eye is not an endearing feature of what I perceive as being beautiful with respect to older women.

Girls go through many different stages (akin to a chrysalis), and one of the last is that of beauty/magnificence.

Do you know for a fact that he did NOT bring those items that you suggest that he did not bring?

I concur with your last sentiments, except that I hope that it wasn't a "plan gone awry" at all. I believe that you are just a jaded and cynical product of modern society; I don't hold that against you (I just plain pray that you're wrong).

;)

Let us just keep the "family" in our prayers (especially for recovery of all its members), because even if your worst fears manifest themselves, then our prayers will be even more important. Remember: Jesus saves!
