Daughter hikes on the fourteeners in Colorado. Every now and then they come across a lone hiker and always insist the hiker join their group.

It is very easy to get lost and I just dont' understand hiking alone under any circumstances.

I think my husband has hiked alone when he was younger.

I don't think I'd let him do that now.
