A Maryland rabbi caught in a television sting operation was sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison yesterday for trying to solicit sex from a 13-year-old boy over the Internet.
David A. Kaye, 56, told the judge that he traveled to Herndon for what he thought would be sex with a boy "as a cry out for help to fight my personal demons." Sobbing as he acknowledged his father, who sat in the courtroom in a wheelchair, Kaye said his conviction had made him face "the reality of who I am. . . . I know I need help. I pray that God allows me to get that help."

The Conservative Jews are apparently considering allowing homosexuals into the rabbinate along with homosexual "marriages."
If they do, they'll get many more cases like this.
You know, I'm a pretty healthy guy and I just read something that said men think about sex every 52 seconds, but I can't fathom what is going on with so many disturbed people. What the heck would make you go through life with the urge to have sex with a little boy. It is really bizarre and there seem to be a lot of them (perverts I mean).

Quite the opposite, he went there with the intent to hurt someone who was helpless.
Completely the opposite --the man is a LIAR.
He needed to use the defense from "Malleus maleficarum": an otherwise saintly bishop was caught attempting to rape a woman, and was disgraced. Later, at the grave of some other saint, it was miraculously revealed that it had not been a bishop but a devil who assumed his form, for the greater scandal of the faith. Swaggart could have used that one, too.
It's really scary how anybody who sets one of these stings up for sex with minors attracts creeps. It seems there is a limitless supply of them.
He may have known 'who' or 'what' he was before the conviction, but the confiction made him 'face' that fact.
We seldom 'face' who we really are on the inside, although the Spirit of God is constantly making it known to us though our guilty conscience.
They never ask for help until they are caught.,even then they dont really want help they want mercy.
They never think of the lives of children they have destroyed. people who sometimes turn out just like them, searching for other 12 year old boys to destroy.

He used to be the Rabbi for a temple in San Antonio. I thought he was married with kids.
I am amazed at how many of these evil jerks are out there.
If I were raising children today, I would never let them out of my sight.
