It appears Chaffee is the source of the George Mitchell rumour.

It sure does and now maybe some can stop hyperventilating that President Bush laid his name out there.

I sincerely doubt President Bush is going to take Chafee's counsel. As the great Ann Coulter said, Chafee is too stupid to realise he's a Democrat.
