Alaska has a sensible gun law.
HB 102, signed by the Governor on June 11, 2003 changes Alaska Statute 11.61.220 to allow anyone 21 or older, who may legally carry a firearm to also carry it concealed without having to obtain a special permit.

Why 21? Why not 18? What they are saying is that an 18 - 20 year old that is/was a member of the military and trained how to properly handle a firearm can not be trusted with a firearm when they are on leave, etc.
