The difference is two white guys COULD discuss the Constitutional merits of the law more or less objectively.That is,WE have never had to experience going to a restaurant and being told "we only serve white folks from the back door"

Yes it is .. and saying to them that the Civil Rights Act of 64 "exceeded its jurisdiction" really isn't a good nor a smart way of discussing any issues
I have lots of blacks friends .. we had a number of discussion .. some heated, some not .. and I sure as heck would never make a comment like that to them
