[I don't know what planet you are from, but I like my atmosphere with at least a 3psi partial pressure of O2]

O2 is part of the water vapor. You wouldn't want pure O2 in the atmosphere. But I am sure you knew that. Water vapor is a compilation of molecules.

No. O2 is not part of water vapor. I don't have time to correct all of your science errors, but it doesn't help to have people on the correct side of an argument garbling facts and making us look stupid. Look up "Niven's Law".

Essentially, you mis-claimed "water vapor is 98% of the greenhouse gas present in Earth's lower atmosphere" and instead claimed that "water vapor is 98% of earth's atmosphere". It was an easy mistake to make, and could be excused as a typo. Please stop compounding your mistake by claiming it is correct.

That has to be the most mind-boggling ignorant statement I've ever seen on Free Republic.

My lungs consume O2 and produce CO2. Do you have some other kind of lungs that consume H2O?

Also, water is H2O. That two atoms of hydrogen and one of oxygen. O2 is not in water vapor. H2O2 is hydrogen peroxide. I would not advise drinking that.

Finally, water vapor is H2O, which is a molecule. I've never heard the term "compilation of molecules." Is that like a greatest hits package of the most popular molecules that is not available in stores, but only by phone?

I can't support your campaign to eliminate O2 from the atmosphere. It would be too inconvenient for me to walk around with an oxygen tank.
