I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this. I can't believe Bush would stand tall for 6 years and then cave in after November 7th.
If he doesn't have a plan for the ME and his cabinet is in disaray, then we're all screwed. I just don't believe that to be the case.

I agree with you that does not extend to the War on Terror. Mr. President has more pressure on him than ever; but, thus far, he has not wavered (per his speech and presser last week).
However, the reality that we must go to war with Iran cannot be denied much longer. The Axis of Evil has not changed and neither should we.
I don't think Bush ever stopped standing tall. I just don't think the secret plots within plots within plots scenarios people hope for are done as a rule of thumb. I think he got dragged down by being outflanked by those who want him to lose, like a pack of wolves taking down an elk.
Well, it has only taken me until 5:00 in the afternoon to catch up to the last page of posts. Yikes. I need to read faster (not likely) or get a slower life (equally not likely).

WW, I would normally plunk myself down next to you in the Sunshine Area of the Speculation Room, but I'm beginning to accept that W may well be out of energy, and he's being swarmed by NWO folks determined to have their ways before the Dems do the cashing in. My cynicism is not pretty, nor comfortable, but there it is. :-/
