interesting program on the Reconstruction era on the History Channel a few days ago actually described the KKK as the "terrorist arm of the Democrat party", which literally advertised itself as "The White Man's Party" for awhile......

and one of the former leaders of the "terrorist arm of the Democrat party" (not the DemocratIC Party...yes, Rush, I've been paying attention) is still in the Senate today (Robert Byrd), supported for reelection by America's favorite darling, Barack Obama.
