In a forthcoming study for the Institute for Counter-Terrorism at Israel's Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, senior researcher Ely Karmon raises the alarming prospect of Hezbollah affiliated groups bringing the Lebanese terrorists' brand of violence to the Americas. While acknowledging that it is too soon to draw clear conclusions about the nature and objectives of these Hezbollah "franchisees," Karmon nonetheless notes that "successful campaigns of proselytism in the heart of poor indigene Indian tribes and populations by both Shi'a and Sunni preachers and activists" have contributed to the growing attraction of Islamist terrorist groups in Latin America. Karmon also observes that "there is a growing trend of solidarity between leftist, Marxist, anti-global and even rightist elements with the Islamists," citing inter alia the September 2004 "strategy conference" of anti-globalization groups hosted by Hezbollah in Beirut.

WOW, one of the best articles I have read on the connections of Islamic militants to the radicals of South America. It is vague for those without better background knowledge of the situation in South America. I would suggest all Frepers read Erenfeld book "Funding Evil, Updated: How Terrorism is Financed and How to Stop It" to better understand the article and how we need to begin to realize, as Americans, the depth of the connections and our own funding of the world Jihad and the Umma, and communist insurgencies in South America, i.e. the FARC and Shining path movements of south America. Also, the connections of Hugo Chavez to both.
Second, this book and others showing the connections that Islamic fundamentalists have around the world will jump start more inquiry into our liberal "friends" desires to save the world and be free to do want we want, especially with the drug culture.

All who care to observe see the connection between the Communists, no matter what they call themselves, and the Islamists. Their tactics are identical - brainwashing, lying, subterfuge, fomenting unrest among the poor and minorities, determination for world domination, etc.

Some of their helpers in the U.S. are fellow travelers, others just selfish useful idiots. No matter, they are assisting their own self-destruction.

I have usually assumed that the hardcore Communists who assist the Islamist, like Russia and China, see the eventual conflict between themselves and the Islamists and plan to solve it by eliminating the Islamists once the US is subdued. However, their assisting the Islamist in gaining nuclear weapons cast doubt on that. That is the Communists strong point at the moment, the ability to nuke them into non-existence.

However, no orderly society can exist with fanatics who think killing innocents gains them a far better life for themselves in paradise. Yet, when the enemy, the Communists, is willing to wipe out millions just to assure they get the guilty perhaps that changes the equation.

At the moment, the Communists and the Islamists, through terrorism, are gaining control over most of the world. We are the only true threat to all that despite assistance from countries like the UK, Australia, NZ, Canada, Poland, and a few others. They don't have the strength we do.

As a result, the minority leftists in this country, are doing all they can, and have been for eighty plus years, to undermine us from within. That includes the Democrats, the MSM, labor unions, and many NGO's.
