Hopefully soon the NAVY will finally see fit to reject holding FLEETWEEK from those unappreciative anti-US SF scum.

Excellent move on the Navy's part..........Standing and saluting.... Why hold any patriotic event in such an anti-patriotic city?

San Francisco
largely (not totally) opposes the military. Just as in almost any city, the citizenry has many political viewpoints.
However, the two largest groups could be the Democrats and the Greens, with the Republicans trailing.

Good. Now the Navy doesn't have to waste time/ships/men defending San Francisco. I think we should let the Chinese invade and clean the place out...

The U.S. Navy has rejected plans to commission its newest and most powerful warship in San Francisco because of concerns that the city doesn't support the military." How about simply that the city does not support the military. It shouldn't be about "concerns".

I hope you are right. I hope the military pulls out of SF all together (no pun intended). Can't wait to see the look in Pelosi's botoxed face when that happens.

Q: How can you tell that a particular meeting is taking place in San Francisco?
A: 90% of the participants enter through the back door.

They declined to host a warship memorial. They elected this scum into office. Let SF cops protect its citizens from terrorists.

The military should go where they are appreciated. Places like San Diego, South Carolina, Poland etc. And get out of where they are taken for granted and disliked like San Francisco, Germany etc.

So, if your neighbors voted for such things, although you didn't, you would consider yourself to be fair game for alqaeda?
As stated in an earlier comment, not every San Franciscan, or Bay Arean, is a liberal. There are several freepers from San Francisco, and many from the Bay Area who are definitely not leftists.

There probably isn't any Navy left in the bay area. Hunters Point shipyard, Mare Island shipyard, Treasure Island naval base, NAS Alameda, Concord Naval Weapon Station, Oak Knoll hospital have all closed.

Are you using IE? Sorry about that, then. Do you happen to know how to fix it? If the code is tinkered so that it shows up on IE, it could then look ugly on Firefox.

Myatt said the Navy had mistaken the views of some political leaders for the views of the majority of Bay Area citizens. What do you expect them to think when they are the only ones speaking out?
