Bloodwork is liable to show poisoning or something like that. It will not show that she was hit or anything like that.

Bloodwork can be an indicator of strangulation or suffocation.

There are more relevant indications of strangulation which were not there. Smothering also would have physical indications which were not there.

Nor would bloodwork distinguish between the lack of oxygenation resulting from a heart stoppage versa a pillow over the face.
