I just took a look at the FDA specs for Plan B. It has both contraceptive and abortifacient effects, depending on how far along the conception process goes. Iow, sometimes it's contraception, sometimes it's an early abortion.
Therefore, if the number of other abortions remains the same (as this study finds), Plan B drugs add to the total and perforce increase overall abortions.
