Actually I heard Dukakis served honorably in the Korean War. He was just a liberal dipwad as a politician and looked like a doofus in a tank turret wearing an ill fitting CVC helmet with his big Snoopy-like schnozz.

What made him look stupid was his liberal rhetoric against things military and then an obvious attempt to do a 180 with a photo op.

Guess my perception was that Dukakis' military service was being equated to Kerry's. Came home after a late night in a noisy bar (great band tho). I see your point this morning.
