FReep this Bush-basher
YouTube ^ | dec. 2, 2006 | vanity

If you have seen the recent appearance by Danny DeVito on "The View" (available on YouTube at the link and here), you may feel as revolted not only by his disgusting and obscene references to President Bush, but also by his frequently-bleeped description of having wild sex in the Lincoln bedroom during the Clinton administration.

While the media excoriate Michael Richards for calling disgraceful-but-generic names at hecklers, DeVito gets a pass from The View and from the media for his vile spew directed at our national leader.

His vulgarity oversprays onto all those who believe that the office of the presidency should be respected, especially in wartime; and that historic reverence should attach to the Lincoln bedroom in the White House, the room where Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation.

It's not enough to post our disgust on a forum where we are preaching to the choir; we can also let persons who can influence DeVito know about it: DeVito's manager Stan Rosenfield, the ABC network and its affiliates, ABC's corporate owners (the Walt Disney company), and David Manero, DeVito's business partner in his soon-to-open Florida restaurant.

I don't watch "The View" or anything Danny Devito. His drunken rant is nothing new or unusual. He is ugly on the inside and the outside.

DeVito denigrated himself more than Bush with that embicilic act on The View. This is humor?

I don't mind people making fun of a President, I just object to them not being witty or funny about it.

He was out because another insipid holiday popcorn chistmas movie. How do we avoid a movie we had no intention of seeing.

These anti-american hollywood performers are getting very tiresome. I just don't want to see them in any way shape or form.

You can go right ahead and avoid it, and any other DeVito appearance, and say you did -- to the addresses listed.

Same here. I'm totally turned off to him now. He's in my lower rings of turn-off, down there with Woody Allen.

But there's a time for talk and a time to do something. Prove Coop wrong about FReepers, people -- he says we're all talk and no action.

Remember the McCarthy era? There was more to it than what Hollywood would want you to believe. I'm probably older than most in here, so I remember those days. They shut Hollywood communists down with a big hammer. Maybe it's time to look at this again. Yes they made mistakes, but all in all, they set Hollywood back 50 years. It has only been during the last decade or so that they are again spouting their slander against this country. They claim "Freedom of Speach" but they forget one thing. They need to take responsibilty for what they say. We can shut them down with our dollars.

DeVito did nothing unusual.

All really SHORT PEOPLE are loony-tunes crazy (medical term). Add that to the Hollyweird 'Jesus' Syndrome (I'm Perfect, you're NOT) and you get 'stark raving mad moonbat'. Which is normal for 'those people'.

:-)

I met Danny Devito about 20 years ago. He was an ass. His wife, however, was friendly, which was a pleasant surprise after seeing her all those years on Cheers.

And the guy most responsible for cleaning commies out of Hollywood was...

Ta-da!

Ronald Reagan. His presidency of the Screen Actor's Guild is what he cut his teeth on before dealing with the eye of the storm itself in the USSR.
