Two books that explicate your thesis in far greater detail are The Venona Papers(I think that was the name, and Venona does not have to be in all caps) and Treason by Ann Coulter. Ann described quite clearly how right Joe McCarthy was, and it is a pity that people like Eisenhower participated in the commie takedown of ol' Joe.
I wish more people than you and I could figure this out. I will be dead if communism wins because I will not give up my SRARS and STRIPES, that is flying over my AMERICA. Also I am not saying I would die before this happens because I will not give AMERICA up without a fight. I'm not just saying words, TRY TO TAKE AWAY MY AMERICA FROM ME.
I know it's picky. But an article from The INTELLECTUAL Conservative should not contain the following phrase, "he said that Communism and Capitalism is slowly moving towards each other."

Hey Joe was wrong. He underestimated the number of Communists in government.
I know there was a list at dsa.org that had a large number of Demoncrats as associates of the organization. I believe they took it down, or hid it from view.

The problem with McCarthy was the "list of names" in his pocket thing. It was a bluff, he didn't have the list. He was like a runaway prosecutor who knew the defendent was guilty, but didn't have the facts to back him up. Do you cheer the prosecutor for knowing the guy was guilty, or do you blame him for his behavior in trying to prove his case without all the foundation. That is what historians will decide.
