I agree with you up to a point.
If America starts limiting religion, then this will affect me, too, as a Christian, will it not?
But, Islam has shown itself to be a blood thirsty religion.
Moslems will soon have more rights in America than Christians.
It's sad that in defending our own right to freedom of religion, we must defend the rights of this murderous cult.
What is the answer? I don't know.
All I can do is pray for our country.
Of course it will. It's a pity Pastor Neimöller's words are so soon forgotten.
What bothers me is the immigration...where are all these muslims coming from? I don't remember ever seeing a mosque growing up....now they're all over the place. I wouldn't care about them at all, except for 911 and all the facts that have come out since then...like their stated goal to either convert us or kill us and to use our own tolerance and laws against us to accomplish this.
I don't feel that giving a Christian religious freedom and a Muslim religious freedom are going to get the same results since Muslims are so blatently militant - many of them just seem to think their religion is a license to kill. I'm not going quietly along with this.
Yes we should pray and we must have UNITY! Whatever differences we have among Christian faiths should be accepted as differences and then stand together as brothers and sisters through Christ.I think that is what Pope Benedict was doing. It was also an example to the Muslims that one does not have to die if there is a disagreement in faith. All one has to do is look what has been to Christmas to realize we as Christians must defend our faith on all fronts. May the Holy Spirit bless this country with ZEAL for faith in Jesus. How on earth did spending lots of money be considered what Christmas is all about. I figure those very same gifts could be bought after Christmas much cheaper and we could concentrate on the true meaning of Christmas. Faith, hope, and charity is always a good beginning.
Murderous Cult being the operative phrase there. Islam is not a religion.
