they are going to re-build a city that is up to 30 feet below sea-level and they are going to re-build in the same place.
A river over one shoulder, a lake over the other and the ocean in front of them and they re-elected Ray Nagin.
I submit that next time disaster strikes, no one should bail them out......... literally or financially.
Don't get me wrong, New Orlwams is a great place, it is just in the wrong place.
New Orleans would be a piece of crap no matter where it would be located.

The worst 5 day vacation we ever had was in NO. We went up the river road,
stopping at the old Plantations, on the way to Baton Rouge and it was great.
Mother Nature tried to flush the toilet that is New Orleans. It didn't work.
Just like the city itself, they wouldn't flush the $h1t out of the pot........
