I like Kyl, a straight shooter, tho he has a flaw or two but what politico doesn't these days.. as if there is anything approaching peerfection around these days in either party.

Rudy may have his work cut out to get the nod, we'll see how willing he is to move away from the center on a couple key issues that may trip him up.

I would prefer a Republican Governor, but there isn't one with visibility at the moment. Mark Sanford was my first choice; however, he may not run.

Good observations. Kyl is a possibility I could get behind. But the party is going to have to be pragmatic this time in who they'll support for pres. We just can't run a nobody with little political experience just because he's a conservative. We have to consider marketability and the ability to stand up against the Clinton/Obama P.R. juggernaut.
