I guess she hadn't heard that the now diseased Zarqawi (thanks to our Brave Military), was a high ranking Al Qaeda operative who was directly responsible for instigating much of the bloodshed and sectarian violence in Iraq. She must of been too busy with her 'employees' at her vineyards and missed it.
I think you meant "deceased".
This is a good example of why I never use spell-checkers: No spell-checker could ever catch a correctly-spelled malapropism.
In any case, I'm sure she believes that Al Zarqawi was actually a member of a wedding party, or some such thing. Remember, in the eyes of the Left, any statement by or favorable to an enemy of the United States is automatically both true and incontrovertible. On the other hand, any statement favorable to the United States or by a friend or representative thereof is automatically either meaningless, trivial or unarguably wrong.
Note that this reinforces the fact that the statement she is quoted as having made is, as Neal Boortz aptly noted, obtuse because, as he pointed out, Al Qaeda themselves have recently claimed (not for the first time) to be present in Iraq in large numbers, and she should therefore have believed that statement. Clearly, her hatred of George W. Bush outweighs even her admiration for this country's enemies.
Then again, perhaps the man who originated my tagline was closer to the truth about Nancy Pelosi.
