I was simply pointing out that this was not an accidental slip by a classless young celebrity, but a deliberate PR strategy.
If it were merely an isolated bit of drunken foolishness, it would be less worrisome than the reality: that it was done deliberately in order to coarsen public discourse to generate cash.
One can only hope the ploy completely backfires and that her next record is a flop. If she is monetarily rewarded for this behavior, the coarsening will continue unabated.
Most of us can't even fathom the depth of that kind of cash. She's probably earned more in interest in the time it took me to type this than most of us will earn all year long.
